If you want an active fish, I'd go clowns. My brown knife always hid and I rarely saw him (even @ night.) I've haven't had much luck with black ghost knives. Though of the three the bgk is my fav, I'd still pick a clown/royal knife over it. Easier to keep and much more fun to watch imo.

IMO I think the BGK is the most interactive of the 3 plus you dont have to feed it feeders...and i love the way it swims around the tank..God I miss mine RIP...
