I find that clown loaches seem to prefer a cave with 2 exits and openings. This would be a PERFECT place for a plec spawn though.

Mine told me that Loaches prefer Jello to fish food, and the black stripes are detachable.

I do get in quite the verbal frenzy with my clowns from time to time. Do you speak whale?

they should use it i make caves like this for my catfish and pike cichlids the problem is that alot of times they will fill it up with sand or move the cup makeing less room inside if you can keep it in one place and keep it so that they don't fill it up with sand it should work fine for loaches
