what do u think?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've never seen this before, but besides fungus, I wonder if it might be ammonia burn of some sort.

First things first, what are your water parameters?

Is not my fish, own by friend of mind who live in Oversea. He said the water is good. First he though is fungus so he treat the fish with some meds but never got better and now look like this.

Fair enough, I just know lots of people say the water is good and never check it.

I think knowing your exact water parameters when asking for help goes along way.

How can you recommend adding salt, black water, and removing sand if you don't know...

  • how much salt is in his water to begin with?

  • black water, or tannins are great and occur naturally in the wild, but last I checked, adding some peat moss to your tank doesn't fix a diseased fish.

  • How the hell would removing sand benefit the fish?
Figure out the cause before you diagnose.

lots of water changes
