I've got the 6X3 from pentair and it works great for me some minor paint chipping but my rays haven't minded.

Yeah I think they look pretty good especially in a fish room environment. But Pentair is adding such a high margin. Pentair sells that tank of yours for $886 plus shipping while it’s listed at the supplier for $289 with $150 shipping. Basically half price ! And the savings are even higher on the larger tanks 8x4x3 from Pentair for $2200 plus shipping verses $458 +$150 direct !

I did the conversions and the biggest (regarding floor space) is a bit over 2k gallons for much less then what you can ever find for sale here unless someone has a gun to their head and is being forced to sell the tank for less then what they're offering.

8x4x3? Try 12x8x3, that's where it's at

When I ordered it from pentair shipping was free. I'm happy enough with the price I don't think getting one of those tanks to Kentucky from Asia for $150 is going to happen anytime soon. 50% margins are pretty standard as far as I've seen. I wish it were possible but I doubt a group buy is realistic either. Still much cheaper than a glass or full acrylic tank.

I know someone that imported these tanks for their rays. The resin was not mixed properly and would not cure. The tanks were refinished several times and each time the paint would bubble up because of the resin under. Not sure what they ended up doing. Hope the tank today are better.

That’s the thing the prices however are different.... £2000 .... this one is 8x7x3 with 2 windows of 6x2 for £615. Landed in UK add £420 for shipping and VAT.
Yeah but mine is being made by a local company who have a proven track record and has like 10year guarantee.

I wouldn't send a lot of money to this random company, then hope it turns up, and of it did that it wasn't damaged from being transported halfway across the world. Not worth it in my book

Would be very easy to get these. I’ve done overseas shipments before on many large items through shipping containers. My friends house is completely furnished because of one.

They imported these specific tanks from that company and had that problem? Well, that puts a damper on my day.

Yep. They even have a video of them loading the container with these tanks.
