What do with terrible online fish seller

Well the seller apologized for the wait and said he was going to take care of it today himself, (said he'd been out of town and his employees couldn't handle the volume of orders well). If I don't get the fish or a tracking number today I said I'd file for a refund, but he said he'd refund me himself if he didn't send them today. We will see. I don't want to unnecessarily give the company a bad name as it could be legitimate that he's been gone for a month and this May not be typical service. I don't know. I will post the name along with how it ended up when I get either my fish or a refund.
 
Well the vendor apologized a lot and said that they have been out of town a lot in the last month dealing with family stuff and that guys who don't normally handle shipping have been in charge of it. He says he is personally going to pack my order and will include lots of extras. We will see. I will post the name and how it ended up when I either receive the order or a refund.
 
That seems very fair on your part, hopefully the vendor comes through for you and the fish will be exactly as advertised. Good luck!
 
He should have told you all of that on Thursday when he said that the shipment was sent out...
 
Sounds like another run around and all of that should have been stated when the fish was ordered. Didn't he already say the order went out an now he saying it hasn't and he will handle it. Didn't you state he told you on about 10 occasions that the fish was being sent out but nothing was ever done. Doesn't sound like someone having family problems or out of town as he replied to your messages. Definitley a run around.

IMO When I order stuff I expect prompt service and if it's not then state when I order why there would be a delay and then I can decide if I want to go through with the order or not. If they want the business then it better be competitive and reasonable expectations or I just move on to the next guy.
 
I am allowed to post the name on here? I'd love to be able to tell him that I will do that if he doesn't refund me or send them immediately . I am worried about him not packaging the fish well because I was having two day shipping which doesn't have an arrive alive guarantee. I have had good luck with this method from other more reputable sellers.

Continued luck on the 2day shipping. Your bagged fish are hoping for 1day overnight (live guarantee), but gd luck..risky, risky
 
I have lived this myself. My empathy to the OP. I'm waiting to see if OP outs the vendor....
