I am well aware of that. Not new to whole fish keeping thing. However, his black stripes dont turn white nor do his white stripes turn black. Im aware as he grows he can change but as of now Im happy with how much white he has as Ive seen some with very little white.
He does look great, in a large part, I think, because you keep him happy. No disrespect meant - you have been 'doing it' at least twice longer than I Just mulling over what you had said aloud / "awritten". Sorry for the ambiguous curtness.
...And I misread your post too. I apologize. When you said "ratio", I've started thinking contrast / color depth for some odd reason, while you apparently meant colored areas. That led me to think mood, stress, etc. My bad.
