What do yo keep with your rays?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
dats, paroons, aros, tigs, severums, frontosas, bichirs ( be careful if the ray is small )
temensis and for now, FRT.

everything

frt. oscars(etc). plecos. sh . cats :)

I'd like to try 2 or 3 lima shovelnose in my 200 with a pair of humerosa.

Anyone have advice on that combo?

As for plecs - I've heard they can be a nusience by sucking on the ray... not going to risk it in my tank.

FRT with rays you guys are mad

if the rays cloak the FRT or sit on top of it they will drown it the FRT need to come up for air

also have you seen the damage a FRT can do when they bite which it will start doing

I will be building a tank in a little while and I have Ca cichlids right now but I dont wont to get rid of them. My goal is to build one tank and house them all in there. The cichlids that I have are 3 midas , four red devils, texas, a pair of jack demseys and a pair of green terrors. The tank is 12ft x 4 x 36inches and I wont rays in there too.My goal is to build a big rocky structure along the back and side walls and have the middle open. The tank comes out to be a 1077gals so what ya think. Knowing me I'll try it anyway but what the heck why not talk about it? So what ya think? I wont this to be like some primative but pretty dead reef sorta thing, with lots of color and different animals. I may throw a couple more things in there but it will have to make a good impact on how the tank looks. This far enough out there for ya fellas.Lol Midas and red devil show a really big change in attitude in a larger tank so I dont know if they would be a problem or not but they have all grown up together and right now there aggression seems to be over rated. It seems to be all about the pecking order and they keep this among themselves but never any damange. Gts and jacks are not a threat I think. well anyway the tank will be built but the cich's are still up in the air. Just a thought but I think it would look bada**.

That looks awesome. I've got a motoro ray with a flash zebra juruense & a couple of Cichla temensis with no problems....of course I just got the ray this morning. ;)
