I have about 16 fish in a 75, 14 of which are Mbuna. I have had three batches of fry 10 hybrid red zebra / auratus fry, 11 demasoni fry (from two small females), and just now I stripped 17 yellow labs from their mom. My demasoni female is holding again she grew some so is probably holding about 10 (I'm going to strip her next week) and I have a good sized pearl mutt holding for the first time. She will probably have 10-15 fry. I am going to keep some of the yellow labs and all of the pearl mutts but am not sure what to do with the rest. Do most pet stores buy 1-2 juvies? If anyone lives in north jersey and wants some fry let me know and I'll give you some in a few weeks. Otherwise I may cull half of the hybrids as they are not attractive and just dump the rest into my 75. I'll have about 50 fish in there.

Yeah I try and give em away. If theres no takers i just use them as feeders.
In the case of mbunas i would just leave em in the tank and they should magically be gone.

I got an aro lol

i once had a whole army of frys outta no where when i bought some guppies for feeders so i just left them in there and eventually they all got eaten or fell threw the overflow box and ended up in my sump and bred some more... lol i caught them and threw em back in the tank to be eaten as snacks for my bichirs & turtles lol

If you can get the LFS to give you something for them great. Otherwise I would use them as feeders.

All of the LFS around me has a policy where they are not allowed to take any fish from someone other then their breeder. In my case, I might save a few, but the majority I use as feeders for my firemouth.
