Ok not sure where to post this, but a recent thread answer had me wondering, what do all you MFKers do other than keep fish? like what do you do for work or what other hobbies are you guys into? reason i ask, piezoelectric plates, someone recomended, and to be able to think of that off the top of the head is ummm impressive. for example i sell cars and work on them in spare time, so my whole take on a DIY idea involves taking something apart and making it do a similar function.

I'm a guitar builder and guitar effects pedal builder along with a papermodel artist when i'm at home.

at school i am the tech/set/lighting/sound chief manager over the theatre department.

I work at a family camp in the Sierra Nevada mountains of northern California where I take care of pools, vehicles, buildings, and grounds. We are on 150 acres and have 850 guests a week for 12 weeks in the summer. In the winter, I PLAY. I imagine my tanks are going to get a lot of attention this winter. Also,I think I'm going to build a pond in my garage!

im a copy/printer/shredder/scaner tech by day and prof beer drinker at night oh and i love all things ford mustang and women.

Software engineer turned quality assurance analyst. In short I judge people's life's work for a living, but you learn a lot about a person when it's your job to tell them what's wrong with their work.

Diggin' the car work too. My husband and I did a lot of bonding over the motor and transmission swap on my little economy car. Nothing like power tools.

Multi-Craft Industrial Maintenance Technician. That's a mouthful. It means that no matter what it is in a factory, I can fix it, fabricate it, redesign it, retrofit it, rewire it, install it, etc. I enjoy being good at what I do, and using those skills to grow fish, by building them cool houses.

Electrician nothing exciting just pipe bending and wire pulling(we don't use the death trap known as romex). In my spare time I make smart remarks ,and provide the good people at captain morgan job security.

heavy equipment operator for a living and restore antique tractors for fun

What do you operate? I ran a track drill for about 2 yrs and moved up to a track hoe for a year. I since got my cdl's and drive tractor/trailer now. I also go to school half time in the evenings and I work out. I used to be a competitive powerlifter and had the second highest total in my weight class in the us for 2009 and was ranked 30 in the world for lifts. I lost about 30lbs and still bench and deadlift and squat, just not as heavy but just do your normal lifting and running routine.
