i am a sub contracter all comercial work,steel framing, drywall, plywood, and structural steel roofs and parapits for almost 6 years now


rottbo..general contracters don't do the actual work.. they decide who gets what it (as far as what company gets the masonry,who gets the drywall, who gets the pluming, ect) they are office jockies...since you do all the work you are either a sub contracter or a private contracter (if you pay your own taxes) if you don't pay your own taxes you are some company's carpenter

by the way i kow what i do for a living i sub out new houses and remodel old ones on the side i guess that i didnt think that i needed to go into to detail and bore the whole place
