I am a housewife and stay at home mom! I also do fish importing on the side. Previous to having a family, i was a veterinary technician and also a therapist. I have liked all my jobs, though find my current to be the most challenging personally.

For the most part, vets make decent money after all the huge school loans are paid off, lol

vets make ok money, nothing like a md even though they are required to have the same amount of schooling. I guess it depends on what you are looking for out of a future profession. Do you want to make alot of money? Do you want to do a job that has new challenges everyday? Do you want an easy paycheck? Do you want to educate or be responsible for others?

On the whole, veterinarians make fantastic money, at least from the vets I know. It's a lot of school required for it though. I have no idea about vet techs. To be honest, I don't know any.
