PhD candidate... luckily I have had real world experience to enjoy the pros of student life again, but it still seems odd I get paid to do what I do.

I play in the lab and write papers :)
 
I run a water treatment plant at a epa superfund site for a living. Currently I am a carpet cleaning tech because I overfilled a tank while reading this thread.
 
ooops just read through everyone elses posts and see we can do a list of what wer trained in.
fully qualified hairdresser and beautician.
NVQ level 1,2 and 3 in business and admin.
Level 1 and 2 in computer skills and accountancy (not sure how that works lol but passed it)
just redone my gcses at night school.
just about to start a degree in sciences to take me to the morgue WOOP WOOP
 
i've been an automotive technician for 25 years and before that i was a full time mom and part time accounts payables clerk.

in 6 months i'm quitting my job, moving to Alabama, and just raising fish, veggies and food animals and being Grandma Cappy to my very handsome grandsons.
