what do you do for a living

I am a designer at a die cast toy company called Jada Toys. I do freelance graphic design on the side to help support my hobbies.

In four weeks, I'll be a second-year architecture student at Tulane University...although for the past few days I've been thinking of transferring next door and majoring in sound engineering at Loyola.

But I'll probably just stick with the architecture even though everyone at the school says we're pretty much all doomed to be poor.

*sighs*

grad student in marine and enviro. bio. - teach intro bio labs and play in the bayou
NOAA fisheries biological sampler - measure and collect otoliths from fish that are caught on charter boats and "observational ride alongs"

I do inside sales for a plumbing supply house. Mostly home heating systems some light commercial bidding also. I also specialize in water conditioning equipment sales which is a nice little niche I've carved for myself.

I am a Cafeteria Assistant at a hospital. The money is ok, but when we move to Denver the money will be even better.:grinno:

Hahaha....Architecture is a funny thing, as is sound engineering. Either you do very well or your piss poor. Best case scenario is to get your license, work for a firm for a while and eventually go into business for yourself. That's the only way, you'll feel fulfilled and make enough cash to support fish addiction. You may also want to get in on the construction field a bit too. Project management is a decent moneymaker for the time spent.
