trade ocean freight and make bank . best job in the world, come and go as I please, where shorts and ts to work, use the F word a lot, have 2 widescreen TVs I can see from my desk and a view outside to a cute little pond made by a beaver, have super cool cowrokers, work usually 8-5 ish and never think about work when I am out of the office and I make what I consider a lot of money. I feel bad for my friends that are slaving away wearing suits and working 16 hour days and weekends to make 1/2 as much.
Factory rep for recycled plastic lumber manufacturer, we melt down recycled milk jugs and make 35 different dimensions, 15 colors and two grades. One strucrural and one non-structural. I deal with distributors, contractors and landscape architects all day. They make and spec decks docks marinas bridges boardwalks, tons of different stuff. Last year we kept 7 million pounds of plastic out of landfills, way up this year, could be close to 15 million pounds. The money is average, but I like what I do and who I do it with, also feel like I make a difference in the world environmentally. Recycling Works!
recycling is so important. Nice that feel like you are making a difference. YOU REALLY ARE. I for one appreciate what you do, and I know a lot of others do, even though you may not hear people say it. Keep up the work!
