What do you do to keep things "exiting"

To me this hobby can get a little bit boring at times. I always need something new to keep me interested in fish. What do you guys do?

Sent from my iPhone using MonsterAquariaNetwork app

To me this hobby isn't always supposed to be exciting. I agree with Geronimo in that I take joy in seeing my fish grow, take on new color and thrive in a well cared for tank.

If you are looking for a hobby that is going to provide excitement, fish-keeping probably isn't the best choice; from what I've seen, the people on here who get addicted to the excitement of buying new fish or setting up new tanks are typically the least successful at keeping them alive. Instead, try to be happy with what you have. Setting up a new tank or buying more fish on a regular basis in order to get your fix is unsustainable. There are a few members on this site that are guilty of this, but I won't name names. :grinno:

An extreme sport might be a better fit for you. Since it looks like you are in CO, have you ever tried mountain biking or snowboarding?

I kiss my oscar through the glass.
but nobody knows about it.

My oscar kissed first, & I just returned it. His eyes showed instant connection.
It was stunning.
