what do you do when your rl and fishkeepring conflict?

Just a suggestion: Try to look ahead a little, to when your baby will start noticing what's in your tanks. Which ones may capture kids' attention? The most active, w/color or bold patterns. and a glass banger! nothing timid.
If U R not sure, have toddlers & preschoolers over, and watch.
Kids are all different, but brown fish which just sit there will be ignored like turds.
Since 6 mos old, my grandson is captivated by a bright yellow male kenyi. I don't have tankmates to disperse aggression, SO it attacks the glass & follows his hands. I never had a baby sit still for such long times. Now he walks to it on his own. The kenyi keeps barreling at him, so baby LOVES it.
My Geo tank is a total fail. Nothing comes flying straight at him. LOL.

lol yeah shes absolutely fascinated with the stingrays... she knows which tank they are in now... and will look intently until one comes up the tanks side then she squeels and flails her hands at it. i have guppies, rosy barbs, and a starry night eel along with some clown loaches in her com tank which she loves to watch. the 37 is a tall tank but its sturdy... the 40 has a wider footprint.
