So, I've had several rounds of jack dempsey fry now, all of my other cichlids enjoy fresh healthy demsey feeders, I let a few get large and give them away, what do you do with so many fish like demseys or convicts, much less livebearers like platys or swordtails?

 corporate crapstores ran all the lfs in my area out of business. <RIP World of Pets>

aquabid, if you feel comfortable with shipping them.

lfs for store credit.....in your case, give them away, feeders, cull them, or you can just seperate the parents and then the problem is solved for good
Yeah, that's about what I do. Love the keeping the parents together, they're bonded for life. Seperate, they were placid and peacefull. Together, they kill stuff:headbang2 Although they have let five of their previous fry live in their tank. I plan to keep them in there until I see aggression problems, maybe if I get them large enough, I will aquabid them (thnx for that idea). Baby jacks aren't worth much except for feeders anyway. Cute, though.

you can also post them on here or aquabid for pick up... people in your area might be interested in them for what ever reason.. to sell off them selves breed them...

Feed 90%. Sell 10%. Or what I do is at night, when they have eggs, remove the cave and scrape the eggs off. No more fry to worry about.

Scrape em off into a bag and send em to other forum members that want to hatch em right? Members like me?
