Hey i was just wondering what do you do with your dead fish?if i catch if in time i thow it away but i know a guy who lets his other fish eat it.what do you do and thank you for the feedback

if the fish is nice, or important i bury it but if its like a feeder fish then i flush it

Big ones get buried in the yard, my inch long ocellaris clown that died a few weeks ago is still in the freezer in my dorm room. Thankfully my roommate fully supports my love of fish.

Ya i only throw away fish that are cheap.i know this may sound stupid but i say alittle prayer after each one

That's a very respectful thing to do. Not stupid at all. It shows you don't take fish-life for granted.

If it is smaller than a good sized s**t then it goes down the loo. (burial at sea).

If its a whopper then its a bin job all the way.

When you flush a dead fish, you are introducing bacteria or viruses to the water system, which eventually comes back to you through your faucet. Do you want to drink your dead fish? It is not safe to flush a fish.... ever.

I wrap mine in papertowels, tell them how sorry I am to lose them, and bury them deep enough that nothing above-ground can disturb them.

Are you familiar with the water table?? Kinda makes your "faucet" argument a little silly. chemical treatment of water is part and parcel of the purification process. I assume this is alike in both America and the UK

Burying them will also cause bacteria to be produced in the decomposition of the fish.

Ummm....you realize poop goes down there too right? Pretty sure that contains bacteria and pathogens. I don't know where you live, but where I'm from, the water is treated before it comes out of the faucet. It would suck if the water system consisted of a pipe from your toilet back to your faucet.
