What do you do with you dead fish

Ummm....you realize poop goes down there too right? Pretty sure that contains bacteria and pathogens. I don't know where you live, but where I'm from, the water is treated before it comes out of the faucet. It would suck if the water system consisted of a pipe from your toilet back to your faucet.

i agree lol...there is much worse stuff that goes down the toilet than dead fish

When you flush a dead fish, you are introducing bacteria or viruses to the water system, which eventually comes back to you through your faucet. Do you want to drink your dead fish? It is not safe to flush a fish.... ever.

That is one of the most koo-koo pants things I've ever heard. Utterly preposterous.

I bury mine in the garden. Although, since it's winter now, and I can't bury them with the ground being frozen they're getting tossed into the garden and recycled by crows.

Burrying, big or small. I am proud to say i have only needed to bury one fish and that fish was a 1" danio that jumped

I wrap mine in papertowels, tell them how sorry I am to lose them, and bury them deep enough that nothing above-ground can disturb them.

LOL even if that was true, I have a well. If it gets buried, your introducing viruses and bacteria to the aquafirs!
