any tank in the present school and are you gonna put a tank in the school you become a principal

I had a 55 gallon in my room, but when the internship hit I took it down and sold it because I was gone so much that I couldn't keep up. When I become a principal if I can help it we will have an aquatic science course. Our agriculture teacher is already asking about doing some hatchery work the fish and wildlife. Also my buddy who teaches science just was donated Walmart's tanks when they quit the fish business. I am helping him with some breeding projects for his classes. Aquatics is a fun way to teach kids science, so heck ya it will be a part of my school if I can help it.

I work doing Water damages (flooding in peoples homes) from waterheaters .. rain ,, sewer backups and unfortunetly Fish tanks : ( that have exploded those floods are pretty sucky

I am an eduactor at a public aquarium. So I mostly teach young squirts about sharks and stuff like that. I do occasionally get to feed the sharks...not kids though. I asked, were not allowed, company policy.;)
I actually have an interview this afternoon for a college in Oregon for their Aquarium Science degree program. I'm soooo nervous!:nilly:

So, they don't let you feed the kids, or they don't let you feed the sharks kids?

Is it OSU that you are applying to? My 300 gallon was a freebie from the vet school there, great school! :)

Third year Computer Based Art and Design (CBAD) Student.

For money; I do freelance design work, and work here and there as a computer technician (Repairing/Building PC's, Troubleshooting, etc.) Need graphic or website design and development done? I'm you're man! :p

How'd it go?

The interview was over an hour long but I think it went pretty well. Now the hard part....waiting to hear if I got in or not.

Sorry, didn't make that very clear. We can't feed the kids to the sharks.:D
The school I am applying for is Oregon Coast Community college in Newport. It's a very small school and program, they only take about 20 students into the Aquarium Science program each fall, so we'll see.

That sounds like a really cool oppotunity. Newport is a really nice place, it's my favorite place on the Oregon Coast (followed by Tillamook).

I took my class on a field trip to Newport two weeks ago, we went on the "Marine Discovery Tour". We took 45 3rd-4th-5th graders on a research boat in the Yaquina Bay. It was really cool, they trawled for bottom fish and then put what they caught in stainless "aquariums", trays for the kids to check everything out. They also towed a plankton net and put what they caught under a digital microscope. All around good times! :)

For me, I guess it depends on the day. Somedays I am a carpenter or an electrician or maid. Other days I am a gardener or a pond cleaner. All days I am an animal wrangler and poop scooper. Actually, I own a shop and sometimes the employees act like they listen to me. Hmmm, come to think of it, they only do it on payday....
