I feed mine thawed pieces of smelt that I cut with scissors and he eats them from my fingertips. As soon as I enter the room he is at the front of the tank with mouth open. It is best to get them off of live as soon as you can or you will go broke. Mine is currently 7" and was about 4 when I got him. He also will take food off the bottom of the tank too which is not common with giga.

Mine currently eats feeder fish and will start "training" next week for shrimps and beefheart.
i feed only dry food ( hikari ) and azoo vitamins... less chance of diese and the giga is doing great..........
Mine is on pellets as main diet. But it'll just wack anything I throw in like feeders and frogs. Market prawn as well.Lets post it here ! ! !
