What do you feed your Ray???

ive got a male and female motoro and i feed them blackworms,ghost shrimp,minnows or earthworms . i try to change it up every couple of days .i would really like to get them to eat pellets.
 
Try the sinking carnivore too Sometimes rays won't take the massivore because it is too big for them and they both have the same stuff in them :)
 
how about frozen bloodworms as apposed to fresh...until I order live-I found out that I have the frozen stuff at lfs made by hikari...supposedly, the frozen stuff is "cleaner" then the live...what are your thoughts....

I personally would go with chopped up earthworms over blood worms. Unless you have a very tiny ray it will take a lot of blood worms to fill it up.

That being said I often use the "bio pure" frozen blood worms for other fish and have never had any problems with them
 
gotcha, yeah I was just curious... i feed my rays chopped earthworms, shrimp, and tilapia-just got a new ray that I converted off of bloodworms, and is eating what my rays eat...but since no one around here has live bloodworms...i figure I try the frozen stuff to give her a little treat a few times a week ya know...
 
I feed Frozen Krill, Earthworms (organically grown), and my WC which I have had for 2 weeks has really taken to shrimp pellets.

I have 2 motoros. 9" M and F.
 
Retics and Motoro's
Mine eat tilapia, blackworms, night crawlers, DYI foods and silversides.
I mix it up from day to day. 6 days a week.. 7th day they dont eat..
