What Do You Feed Your Ray?

Wouldn't it take to long to grow feeders

A big ray would need 3-5" fish by the time you have spent money feeding up feeders to feed to the rays you could have spent the money feeding the rays without the hassle of a second tank

2 males 8 females in 135 gallon tank? Yes or No.

Not without some incredibly extreme filtration but even then even the smallest of species will just be to big

rays get huge and eat way too much for you to produce and grow out full sized adult tilapia enough to support them on a full time basis unless you produce tons of them and give them other sources of food at the same time. a half grown black ray can easily eat a full tilapia filet a day. i feed pellets in the morning and at night but every second night i skip the pellet and feed tilapia. once a week they get about 6-12 large earth worms as treats.

either way be prepared to spend big $$ to feed these suckers. its incredible the amount they consume.
