What Do You Feed Your Rays?

If your rays are only eating massivore and your not willing to work with them it will be hard for you to swich them over to it, but if you start feeding some other pellets like nls and such you will have an easier time. My rays started on massivore then when I got them to nls 10mm and nls 6mm and then I added the krill pellets which they took right away and then I threw in some of the super sinkers cichlid mix and they even ate those with no problems, I just take all my pellets and mix them together and fill up my nls buckets and then throw in hand fulls of the mix when I feed pellets now, but I am not going to feed massivore ever again.

This is my normal feeding for all my fish. About a pound of tilapia. I thaw it in the tank in a net and as soon as the first piece hits the water for thawing everyone goes nuts.

Frozen blackworms, nightcrawlers, massivore, sinking cichlid gold, shrimp


Use a feeding stick to keep the fish away so the worms can fall to the bottom.

Tilapia is primary, shrimp and Crawlers alternated and Massivore about 2x a week. I tend to switch foods daily. My blacks will eat anything, marbles are a little more finicky.
 
nightcrawlers, silversides, market shrimp, ghost shrimp, massivore, hikari sinking carnivore pellets as well.
 
Quite a varied diet fed here. How many rays eat better than their owners????
