dropping a container full of those little beasts in a people packed place like a grocery store would be a blast:naughty:

I love feeder colonies! Back when I was in high school, I freaked my mom out when she found out first-hand I had a colony of mealworms numbering in the 3000-4000 range! And then later the crickets! Hahaha! I've been thinking about getting some roaches for my gecko recently.

Good times!!

I recently set up a dubia colony. I started with 150 and the lady that sent them included several mature males and females. Anyways I'm still not totally comfortable with them but it sure beats buying crickets all the time. I've been feeding mine dog food, cereal, oatmeal, and the older greens, veggies and fruits that I have for my beardies and sugar gliders.

I spotted yesterday in my dubia colony my first fully mature, winged male roach. That means they're all on the home stretch of becoming a breeding colony. I can't wait for the kids....err.....feeders to start rolling in! :D
