I was in for 10 years, over the years I did all the different jobs. From driver, loader, Ammo, Ast.Gunner, Gunner, Ammo Team Chief, and lastly Section Chief. I was in charge of one and its ammo vehicle and counting me 12 guys for 5 years.

Not actually a tank. It's a self propelled artillery. We shoot indirectly over several kilometers away (min range 3 kilometers max around 50 kilometers with a rocket assisted projectile). Where as tanks shot right at each other within 5 kilometers.

Retired computer bum from the engineering biz.
I ran them, programmed them, built them, fixed them, customized them, collected them, scrapped them out, and trained young engineers to run them here and elsewhere.

In 1974 I left Mech Engineering for computer Science, and essentially did both for 45 years.
