What do you guys/girls think is the most overrated cichlid?

I didn't say they weren't great. I think they are.

But nothing "OMG THE BEST!!11!" about a giant mouth with fins banging glass.
 
I can't honestly say any of them are "overrated" there are flavors of the month which I wouln't mention. But overrated no, I love them all to varying degrees.

Overkept maybe.

Ok I'll open the can all the way. I haven't had the opportunity to keep them yet, but I don't see the fascination with ex- Cichlasoma Ornatum. I know they are super rare and very hard to come by, but I just don't get it........... yet. Definately not one of my favorite fish visually.
 
i think oscars are over kept and they are always getten traded back in because people dont listen to what people say about how big they get and no one relizes how much they really can eat
 
I've kept ornatums in my community tank for a few months already, no complaints.

Definitely not overrated IMO, they have the body type, attitude, and personality of festae and can display amazing colors as well.
