What do you guys keep with your bichirs??

Wow that is ballsy there 408 smokin I wanted to keep a loggerhead with my bichirs but everyone told me HELL NO. Glad to see its obviously working out well you got a beautiful tank !

the logger head is doing great in that tank.. I had him in there for over 1 year and he hasen't bitten or attack any other fishes..

I recently saw a senegal bichir in the LFS.. it was just a tiny thing only about 2.5". I am going to be getting a 150 gal tank in the next two weeks tomove my community tank into. There will be plenty of room for new fish.

I'd like to get the bichir, confident in the size of my free swimming fish. The only fish I worry could be eaten are my 3 pictus cats and my eclipse cat. Anyone tried or successfully kept these together?

Wow and they don't pick on the bichir ?!

They completely ignore them - though I thk the Bichir thks he is a cichlid. He eats pellets and at times is hanging out in the cave with my Huge Trimac-lol. Fish are so unpredictable.

I have two biggest Endlis in there about 22" inches.. The rest of them are about 16-20".. I have a small lap about 12" and that is the smallest one in there!
