What do you guys think of this juvenile Oscar?

I recently saw this juvenile Oscar in a store with a bunch of white ones with various notes of black in them. I am not an Oscar expert but it intrigued me a lot. So I wanted to ask around here if you think he might develop into something interesting. I am just used to seeing the classic and young tiger oscars. Thanks

If by “interesting” you mean unique, then probably not. That’s a pretty typical pattern for a young oscar. The degree of coverage at its age may result in a high coverage adult, which would be attractive, but not necessarily unique.

As Forest Gump would say Astronotus ocellatus are like a box of chocolates as you never know what you’re going to get. What they look like now with be nothing like when he’s an adult.
