I've actually been thinking about doing that, but this background came with the tank and well I just haven't gotten the urge to do that yet. might do that when we move and I tear the tank down to move it.Blue Demp;3266645; said:Nice tank! I think you should ditch the background for a black one.
the convict, dempsey and the jag all fit in the pot so far. As for the cloudiness is still there and the tanks has been set up for a few months now with the sand. i've tried the water clarity stuff and it's helped a little but soon as the fish start digging in the sand it comes back. I've added a micron pad to the AC 110 which helps but every day or two I have to replace it with a new one since it gets clogged up with fine particals of sand.Sab_Fan;3268918; said:everything looks great to me; for the cloudiness, have you tried Clarity? I've used that to take care of cloudy water after using Flourite, I'd think it might work for sand too . . . it's supposed to clump up the floating particles so that they are big enough to be removed by your filter
one comment: I think the flowerpot in the corner is too small for anyone but the convict to ever use (?)

1 suggestion: when you upgrade go for a 180 or 210. the price is comparable and you'll be able to do much more with it. I too went from a 75 to a 150 a few years ago and wish I had gone bigger when I took the plunge. At first It'll seem huge but before long you'll be wishing that you had the extra width.
