What do you HATE about fish keepers/keeping?

I hate trying to explain away the new tank in the hallway, while 'others' in the house spend money on 'stuff' that isn't going to last as long, or be enjoyed by as many people, as a well kept aquarium. (I guess they don't like the fact you can't rewind or go back and watch the same 'clip' over and over...)

yes that 400$ purse that will last them a few months is perfectly ok but that 200gallon set up you got for 250 is rediculus right?

I also hate that there are tons of people on here who think that just because they have 1,000+ posts that they are some how superior to you.

You ask a fellow MFKer a simple question, and some 3rd party comes back with some snide comment about your question.

And then they go through and try to seem like you are ganging up on the poster, when it was a simple question with a simple answer- and there is no need to look into anything.

There are tons of things on this site- so many things posted- more opinions than fact- of course people are going to disagree, but can't people just learn to get along?

the cost of tanks and how the goverment makes certain fish illegal.

people who buy fish and dont realize when the first person says to them that they will need to get a bigger tank with this fish. So plan on upgrading but then the person buys the fish anyways and stunts the growth of the fish. And then soon death for the poor thing.
