Thanks guys. Maybe I will go with glass. But acrylic just sounds so good. Sure it scratches but they can be buffed out. I will wait for more reply. All good points guys.

I like glass! I have an old scratched up acrylic 90 sitting in the basement thanks to my water melon pleco. When acrylic is new it looks great but when it is scratched up not so good. I'll take glass anyday.

i juz bought my glass tank back and carried it home after an hour trip in airconditioned car (24degree celsius) and after 5minutes i added water at room temperature straight from the tap (about 29degree celsius) it cracked immediately. there goes my 40bux..

Not too smart lol

Glass any time with tanks under 250-300gal. Anything bigger and you will need a team of Clydesdale's to move it and concrete to put it on.

I like acrylic tanks because I can get them in custom sizes and they insulate much batter than glass. My 400 gallon tank is heated with 250 watt ebo jager heater, it can easily keep the tank at 80 degrees.

I prefer acrylic for larger tanks and glass for smaller.
Also, you need to consider what fish you'll be housing, as some species will scratch the acrylic. As long as you use common sense and care, the acrylic will hold up well and probably last longer than the seals on a glass tank.
I voted for both, so my votes cancelled out each other.
