What do you name your fish???

I had a blood parrot that was about three inches thick so he was named boss hog and a jurapari that hung out with silver dollars so he was named Clarence after the Eddie Murphy skit where his character was Clarence and claimed to be the fifth Beatle.
Name some of my fish if they have a trait that sticks out. Congo puffer is Hoover since he inhales food like the vacuum cleaner. The C. Solandri is Buddha since he is such a pacifist that when I got him, he left the 2 spot goby in the tank beat him up. Goby found out biting a fish with poisonous flesh is a bad idea. The goby survived and learned to let Buddha alone.
My mbuna are named Sherman, Shula, Shella, Sherlock, Shelby, Sherwood, Asale, Malawa, Sol, and Satan hahaha my girlfriend named most of them.

My daughter usually names the fish with very "matter of fact" names, like the Midas, she named it "Pick" ....becaused that's the one she picked!

My other pacu was named Leo, because he was king of the tank. After eating, he used to herd all the other fish into one corner of the tank. He's a wannabe herding dog. My husband later renamed him Leonardo de Fishio

I don't name my fish. I have a (probably annoying to some) habit of calling my fish my their scientific names.
However, my fiancée has named some fish. We have a green terror named Mr. Pickles, an oscar named Julian, and a Red Devil named Reddi-whip.
