What do you name your fish?

I don't often name my fish but sometimes I do when they leave an impression on me. My Trachycorystes cats that are going on 14 years old now my female I decided to call Black Betty as I like the song and she is well Black and a Betty. lol My Males name is Ug after the Critters bounty hunter, now I just need another to call Lee. A Red Dovii male that I named after my friend who I got him from, so he's named Mo. A Hemibagrus Filamentus Cat I got from my last order with Jeff of TUIC before Kevin took over so the cats name is Rapps. And a Kamfa that I just call Kamfa. I'd give him a name but he's got so much character I couldn't choose a single name for him. Stays in my room making all kinds of noise. Slams into the top often because he mistakes condensing water on my glass top for food and when he's not doing that I hear him making load smack sounds as he snaps at the top of the water as he tries to get pellets that aren't there. It's funny the Kamfa smacking into the top often startles people on facetime or on the phone with me. Everyone asks what the heck was that. Luckily he's got a big nuchal hump which must act as a shock absorber. lol

the Otos are Melody, Harmony and Lyric. Though I can’t tell who’s who.

the catfish I believe are female have names. False Julii Jem and Whiskers. Peppered Cory’s the big one and Nichole.

When ever I name a fish, it's the
"Kiss of Death". The poor fish will either be murdered, jump out of the tank, or suddenly succumb to a symptomless unidentified "phantom" ailment.
I refer to my fish by their common or scientific Latin names. They live longer. Lol

Not sure why but I only name fish that creates trouble for me. A fat bronze cory called penut that always first during feeding time and eats till hes round like a penut and sits there with a smug look, if i feed less he'll eat the other's portion. a fat koi named boaty cause he swims like a tug boat and always b line towards food knocking everything in its way. A red male Betta fish named ******* cause he's was in a tank with guppies and green jade shimps, the guppies bullied him so they were moved out and ******* became the new king of the tank. Took him one day to kill all my shrimps. An the newest troublemaker, Fancy pants, an RTG asian arowana that thinks that he's too good for pellets. Lets see how he likes starvation haha.
