i currently have a tank with 4 birchirs in. the biggest being my 14" ornate. can you recommend me a catfish to clean up the uneaten food? it will eventually go into at least a 225g ( about 3 months time). i dont want anything HUGE like a TSN or RTC. without being too picky i wouldnt mind some colour on it too?

any suggestions? :naughty:

maybe some synos or pimeloda species. possibly even a large shoal of cories. if your not to picky maybe even a pictus of such.

It depends a LOT on what you are after? Some things to look into could be plecos (they come in a variety of colors, but will make a lot more waste than they get rid of). They come in various sizes, from a couple of inches to pretty tank busting. Another option could be a raphael catfish (aka talking catfish) but you wont see much of it, although it should be a good night time scavenger.

Hope that gives a little bit of a start.

Nothing really big can go in a 225g. Get a hoard of pictus catfish.

False! You can get a lima or a megaladors irwin(i think it shld be engh for this cat also check myy spelling someone) raphals, ummm NO gupers they will eat your other stuff...Thats all i can think of atm

It's some species of the genus Aguarunichthys, probably A. torosus. Whatever it is, I can guarantee you it is very uncommon.

False! Megalodoras uranoscopus which was irwini before gets huge, thus a no to keeping it in 225g for life.
