False! Megalodoras uranoscopus which was irwini before gets huge, thus a no to keeping it in 225g for life.

According to planetcatfish.com, they max out at 27". Since they grow extremely slowly (from what I've heard), I think it would be fine in a 225g.

get a small group of sun cats, there super slow growing and they're max size is 18 inches, 225 is plenty big for them, even grown, there nocturnal though, ive had one for over a year, got it at 3 inches, 7 to 9 inches now

I've seen one myself at around 32"! Don't know how long it took though.
