What do you thin of my oscar?

I have a quick question on another oscar i have. He is all black most of the time and them he changes to a dark orange color and then changes back. He is always orange when he is sleeping also and black when he is awake. Why does he change color so much?

they change according to moods but i must say its a reg red but a nice one too =]

Thanks. I personally don't see it as a regular red b/c my other oscar has the "regular" color and this one has a golden color(not red at all) and its shiny too. The picture does not do it any justice.
