Kinda creepy but i am sure they were just thinking maby it would help being that she couldent be there to see them a last time..
Why is it not creepy to look at a dead body in a casket, but it is to look at a picture of one? just wondering
Good question actually,although some people can't bare to look at a loved one(or anyone else) in a casket.....It's just something about the whole cellphone/camera thing being used at a viewing that bothers me.
I know it is often said by doctors and psychologist that it can difficult to except the death of a loved one w/o seeing the body.
That being said I would freak the f out if I saw a picture of a dead friend or family member on my cell phone.
it is kind of weird and creepy and i wouldn't take a pic or wouldn't wanna receive one. and i do think it's in poor taste
but with that said, i have some weird relatives myself and it wouldn't surprize me if they did something like this. if they meant no harm, i guess i can let it slide. it depends on their intention. does this relative have a history of issues with your mother in law?

A live feed(non recorded) wouldn't have bothered me but but to have it saved on the phone would have. I was a little bothered when my dad toke a picture of my sister's casket(camera not phone).
No,none that I'm aware of......Can you imagine someone walking around and using such an image for the wallpaper on their phone?
now that i think about it, it wouldnt' bother me if the person was not that close to me. so the closer the person was to me the more it would bother me.
like if it was my brother or my wife or something, i would not want to take a picture. i prefer to look at the pictures i have of them when they were alive
yea, keeping a pic like that as a wallpaper? that's way out there for me and i would make a comment if i saw someone who did that
