what size of the aro? it now is not look like a green, look like a banjar to me
in fact, there are a lot of different type of green with a little bit different color such as from Malaysia, Indo, Singapore, some have yellow tail, some have green tail, and also some with white base. They will look different when they grow up like 10" up.
if the fish store sell that green to you and said that's a green, it can't be wrong, otherwise that fish store didn't know about the asian aro

oh i c, good catch then , try some back ground and white base for the tank will help it cross , just my 2 cent, cause my friend got a green and his tank is white base then his green cross at belly
