toledo,ohio
1- 10 inch florida gar
1. 6-7 inch peacock bass
2 . crayfish ( sure on the what kind

I want to add some more tank mates soon. i have a secondly tank ready for some other fish. i was wonder what i could add , i will have them in the second tank, until the 120g tank is up. so what would well with the fish listed.

I thought about maybe

bowfin
wolffish
blue crayfish
another gar
another peacock bass.

im not really sure what do you think?

120g for a couple years maybe a 180g in a couple years. right now they are in a 35. but moving to a 75 soon. so i will have a 29g and a 35g free. as of today i have a 29g free. i figured it will be suitable for a baby or juvi until it is of size for the big boy tank.

The bass will out grow that tank, and will eventually need a 180+ gallon tank. Also one of the tankmates will eventually eat your crayfish..

the crayfish were 2 bucks lol not worried about th crayfish at this point. but if i did get a blue i would be kinda mad. i figured i have some time until i will need to upgrade tanks. if they out grow my tank i have my fathers tank he can go to lol

Good thing you have a back up plan! Have you considered a datnoid?

yea, i always have another tank option for them to go to. so if out grow me, they get moved to a good home, since i tend to never be able to stay on track with one fish. this is the first time i have been happy with my fish for more then 4 months lol, i always want something different but this time i found the theme i like. i love the gar and the bass in there with the crayfish. i just think i need to add another guy to the mix. i have the 29gal for a grow out until he is of size to hold his own against the bass. the bass is the bully, the gar could care less, the crayfish well they are crayfish lol.

Ditch the peacock bass for sure and get another Florida gar or two. If you don't mind the crayfish disappearing, consider getting a couple of bichirs; they will not outgrow a 120 or 180 and will enjoy the extra space. Avoid the bowfin, wolf fish, peacock bass, and blue crayfish; they will either kill some or all of the other fishes, or will be killed.

Just remember that the gar(s) will need at least a 180 gallon aquarium when it/they are full grown, and it would be preferable to get it/them into either the 120 or 180 ASAP since it's already too big for its current aquarium. The peacock bass will need an even larger aquarium much sooner than the gar(s), so that's why I say that you should get rid of it (not to mention that peacock bass and gar are not a very good mix).
