what do you think of my tank mates

my gar and bass seem to be fine with each other, they always just hang out at the top at night time sleeping im quessing lol. but i could ditch the bass i quess. the 75gal will be up in a matter of a week or so for the gar and etc. but whatever i get will need to be in the smaller tank until big enough.

already had a bicir loved the thing but the bass wouldnt leave the thing along the gar again didnt give a crap. the gar is so laid back, even the crayfish leave him alone when he lays at the bottom lol. they all seem to like the gar lol. as of right now there is no drama in the tank they all get along . the 2 crayfish will duel from time to time but whatever lol

wolf fish u never know what they will do.

so far bicir is on the list and to ditch the bass.

I concur ditch the bass and get more gar, if you like gar eventually the gar/bass combo is likely to be a bad combo. I'de go w/ some bichir.. or maybe a tire track or fire eel. I keep 3 gar, and 2 M. dayi ( leopard spotted spiney) together and the combo works well. the gar do their cruise around and look cool thing, and the spineys amuse/keep the tank interesting. I use to keep fire eels, and an ornate bichir with my gar ( until I had made a big mistake and added sand to the tank) ie no complications with the mix. the gar/fire combo worked for 1+yrs w/out any minor issues let alone major ones. if in the long run you don't want to go past 180 I would go w/ 3 gar max and 1 spiney, maybe 2-3 small/med growing bichir.

sounds really cool looking. i may be ditching the bass this weekend to a friends and grabing something in return. bichir are on the top of the list. along with another gar.
