Sounds like a gimmick.Im lucky enough to have really high quality well water so I add nothing to it on waterchanges

My lfs doesn't carry prime. I'll check ebay. I have been primarily using ACE.

its good stuff..just make sure you clean your tank at least once a week i clean mine twice aweek...
