Will do. Came out of tank full of large african cichlids, a jag and a flowerhorn. Now to get him eating.

If anyone has any helpful tips or hints that I might have missed in the aro threads, please don't be shy. First aro in a long time so there isn't any obvious info to me. Even the most basic is easily forgotten. But I did get the one about sealing the tank.
 
have a large enough tank, tight lid, plenty of water changes and strong filtration, varied diet, (I like to have plenty of plant cover for my arowanas), and last but not least im sure is to qt any new tankmates before introducing.

Thanks, any particulars on diet? He is in qt right now with the cat and eel I just got today also.
 
I like to feed mine hikari food sticks, feeder mollies, grass shrimps, crickets, house geckos, mealworms, Market Prawns, krill, and silversides. You dont have to feed all of these but a variety of them would be great.
 
Only in the tank a few hours and already ate a chunk of tilapia off the bottom. :headbang2
