I don't pay over 50 cents to a $1.00 max a gallon for used tanks.(keeps me safe).

Yeah that is usually what I do unless there are some seriously extenuating circumstances!

AH, I saw that deal too, I'm constantly trolling craigslist for tanks, I thought i saw this one for 100 bucks, maybe i was mistaken.

I did pull a good 35 gallon off there for 30 bucks with a filter and other random accessories. Cleaned it up and I'm planning on setting it up tomorrow.

This tank crossed my mind, but it really does look like more trouble than it's worth, but as you said, cheap deals are few and far between around here. It's a tough call, but i think if I had the room, I'd get it and put the work into it.

Man! so your my competition? Well Im just looking for something decently priced around 120g to combine my 55g and 29g let me know if you pass anything over! Plus I emailed the guy and it turned out to be around 90g.

Out here in Cali that would be a expensive setup. But I guess not every state has an overbundance of used tanks.

Yeah you MFK's in cali usually have it made but I have had some good deals come my way too, just gotta keep looking!

Haha, I wouldn't consider myself competition, as i live in an apartment which is approximately the size of a walk in closet, and I'm on the second floor. I've got three tanks wedged in here, but nothing big, my 50 g makes me nervous cause I'm on the second floor. I do look for deals all the time and I'll be sure to pass anything i find your way.
