think this tank is worth $400? the measurements are 44" by 44" on the larger side, 32" by 36" on the smaller, it's 22" tall and the stand is 16" tall. the bottom is hard plastic sealed to wood. the plastic has some cracks and the sides also need resealed i guess but from my understanding from the seller it'll need resealed once it's moved because i guess it's kind of wobbly empty or something. so tell me what do you guys think? think i could talk him down to maybe $200?

It does needs resealing if it has cracks, and that doesn't look to easy to reseal, lol. Try $300, just complain that you have to reseal it and maybe he will take it down, but don''t complain too much, he might just say"screw off". LOL

Sweet tank though, I'd pay 400 for it.

That is a pretty cool looking tank, I would try to talk down a bit, what is he asking? You might go 250 I would hum and ha and point out a few of the flaws, and maybe have a bunch of guys waiting to move it in an hour and have the cash on you. That helps alot.

his asking price was $600. which i personally think isn't really worth the hassle of resealing this beast haha. i might make a couple of email addresses and give him some different prices to see if he takes any of them, hopefully he's not on here haha.

i'd talk him down. to at least 300 if not lower. resealing is fun... not lol

600, forget that. $400 or less the most I would pay, if you didn't have to reseal that's different. But 400 not bad even though you have to reseal, not sure on the whole making couple email addresses, lol. But if it works, lol.

i saw another thread on here a while back were someone had a similar tank, i'm thinking the tanks are from petco/petsmart. the only difference was that the other tank had a built in overflow which would of been sweet. i'm also thinking that trying to drill this tank would be a really bad idea haha.

I saw a thread like that too, IDK who but it looked pretty similar. I wouldn't drill, it would be a Pain to put new glass in.

I could dig $400. Resealing is a PITA, but not expensive. That's why we DIYers are a dying breed, we'll take work over money.

On another note, for having that much water volume and only 1 turtle... for the water to be that dirty he must NEVER do water changes.
