sounds good, I know how exciting it is to start it all up, let us know how it all progresses & hopefully I've given you some helpful info to go on.

And mine has the Skimmer in it. Do you still think I need a PowerHead?
 
yeah, looks like u got a wet/dry built into the back of the tank instead of underneath it. Your only pushing 350 gph. Ive got over 1600 gph not counting my skimmer thats rated for tanks up to 225 on my 55 gallon tank. I still wished i went for the next model up from what i got on the powerheads.
 
when you get the powerhead it wuld be a good idea to get a foam pre filter for it it keeps lager debris from getting in.to the impeller and helps build up bacteria and keep fish safe i wuld get a powerhead with a auto sweeping action this does help with water movement its a little pricier but well worth it zoomed power sweep is an afordable one the zoomed 228 powrer sweep has a 270 gph flow and is rated for a up to a 75 gallon tank the price i have for this moddel is 31.98 it might be a little more at lfs another with out the power sweep function is the seio prop pump it has a magnet mount so you can move it around the tank with out getting wet helps with lo flow spts. i wuld use the aactinic lite with the 50/50 and wuld get some stands for your light to help keep the balstt cooler by getting the light off the tank hope my info helps .
 
The sweeping powerhead sounds good and think it would help alot! you paid 31.98 for yours ? if so where at?

I put one aactinic and one 10k light in it and it looks good. but I have the old style and have been told I need a new hood if I want to do coral. so now looking for a good deal on a 4 bulb hood and need a bigger air pump cause my skimmer is the old school wood stone type.

its a start can you list all equipment currently in use on it? water parameters? and other details so I can suggest anything if need be?
