What do you think??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
lol yea, again :)
if there's no algae problem no need to introduce an algae eater.
If you have the tank heavily planted then you could add some small fast moving fish, just keep in mind that all those fish will most likely ended up being snacks but if you want to do it, try some zebra danios, giant danios, neon tetras, etc. keep them in large shoals so it'll be hard for the spilo to single one out.
it would probably work better in a wider tank like at least a 75g since you have more area to add plants (fake or real) for those little fish to hide. and make sure you add those fish earlier before you add the spilo.
again, be prepared to have those "snacks" disappearing on you one by one.

What's your heart set on getting right now? Most of what you've said your interested in so far would most likely have to be ordered

I wanted the Ruby and thought it would be easier to get the Manuelli but as it turns out it is the same story for both..So I am sticking with my original interest witch would be the Ruby Spilo...

Well, i hope you don't let your heart's desire get derailed by the thought of having to order on-line. Lots of members here have ordered their pygos and serras from trusted sites.

If you're planning on upgrading tank sizes would you rather go with a shoal of something? Have you researched growth rates?

Yeah thats one reason I liked the ruby red it only gets 7" long, when I do upgrade it will be able stay in the 55 if I do decide to do a shoal. And to clarify it is not the red sanchezi I am looking for,an actual Red Ruby Spilo.
