Any thoughts on the stocking though? I know weather loaches can get big over time and I plan to keep them long enough for them to get huge so I'd like to know if the number is just right or not.
What do you think?

Personally if you don't plan to move them or put them in a pond then I'd get just one or two.

No, I am infact planning to give them an upgrade to 180 but I know it would take a few years to do so so I don't want to get the fish for a bigger tank with the intentions of upgrading but not be able to in the future for whatever reason.

Do you have a cat? It would be a shame if it sharpened it's claws on such a very beautiful chair.......(you can borrow mine if needed)
Yep I have a cat but he doesn't scratch furniture. He scratches the cinder blocks I have and some big pieces of driftwood I leave out for him to scratch.
Could do more if it's only a growout, could do 3-4 wl with 3 of the moors
Well here's a little update. It isn't much but it's something.
First off, the board is going to be painted black. I personally wanted to keep it like it to was. Mother kept on bugging me to paint it black and she's the only reason as to why I am able to expand my tanks beyond my room so...... Happy mother = happy fish keeper?
Here's the board currently.
Just waiting on the first coat to dry so I can do another coat so it'll look uniform. Did it long ways, gonna do it short ways next time.
So, it has been decided that the tank is going to be moved to a place where previously I was told I could not place it. I just walked in this morning and they said the tank were moving there.
Here is where it's going to be. (Ignore mother)
This is to let you see how the new place is compared to the old place.
One final note. Since this is turning into more of a journal I'm thinking about getting a mod to change the name the "Double 55 gallon journal" and have it moved to the general discussion.
