What do you use for a small boat anchor?

Grappling anchor. It folds up so it's easy to transport but then folds down to release the sharp points

Best to buy a an anchor made for anchoring. They don't have to be heavy just designed to grab the bottom when pulled

Any anchor will work much better if you use about 4-6 feet of chain as a leader. then tie the rope to the chain. Not only does it add weight but it helps keep your anchor angled down so it sticks to the ground better.
