I have been in the same boat as you for the past 2 months and have finally found the perfect solution.

My tank dimensions are 72X24X29 which is 210 US Gallons.

$200.00 total and your lighting will be complete for years to come...

Brand:

Solarmax H.O. 248
(High Output Double T5 Lighting System)

36" T5 System (54W X 2)
6X MoonLight LED's

Comes With:

(1) T5 10,000K Daylight Lamp
(1) T5 Actinic-03 Lamp
Acrylic Lens Cover
Adjustable Extension Legs (Pair)

Independent Lamp Control:

Allows you to control a whole day simulation with 4 (Four) different light settings which is my favorite feature.

The moonlight setting is incredible which gives a realistic setting of a lake bottom during sundown with just enough light to see movement and shadows. If you have a few hob filters you get a ripple effect in the water which is amazing to watch, especially if you have a 210 gallon fish tank in your bedroom..

I personally use 2 of these 36" fixtures for my 210 gallon tank which is 72" long and 29" deep.

For $200.00 you get 2 36" T5 fixtures which include 2 T5 10,000k daylight lamps and 2 T5 actinic-03 lamps.

You can't go wrong and I have personally been on the look for months trying different fluorescent lightning etc.
